Once a researcher and propagandist (I mean this in the most positive way) for community organizations, including a year with the Federation of Alberta Students, then a graphic artist and designer – you may have heard of Kinesis and Aquelarre, I am now an artist and writer. My work has been exhibited at Gallery Gachet (2015), the Leigh Square Community Arts Village in Port Coquitlam (2013), Britannia Art Gallery (2017, 2010, 2005, 2003) and the Vancouver East Cultural Centre (2017, 2004). You may have seen it in Turks and Café du Soleil on Commercial Drive, Emelle’s on W 7th, Blake’s in Gastown and the Evergreen Community Health Centre. My Artist Trading Cards (ATCs) made it into the group exhibition (2005) at the Blackberry Gallery in Port Moody but didn’t make it out. My lantern installation has helped light up the Winter Solstice Festival at the Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Garden and the Renfrew Ravine Moon Festival (2003-2006).
All my artworks are available as 6″ x 4″ prints mounted on greeting cards (blank inside, white or coloured card stock, with envelop, sealed in clear polypropylene bags). $6.00 Cdn. each plus shipping.
